Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Towards the end of 2009, my father was unfortunatley diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer. Shortly after receiving this terrible news, I decided that i wanted to help as much as i possibly can by raising money for the prostate cancer charities that are out there, to attempt to help people to find the cure for this horrible illness. I initially decided to carry out a skydive to raise money for charity, but after speaking to my two brothers they wanted to join me in raising some money to help. We then decided to join ranks and enter the half marathon event 'Run to the Beat'. So please help us to raise as much money as possible to help save not only our father but thousands of other men out there suffering in the UK every day. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK and over 35,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thanks :)
