Im now doing 2 challanges which will total 50.5 miles walked

  1/ This is a days walking in the Pennines following a route totalling 24.5 miles (39.2 k) and climbs over 5000 feet through some of the most rugged and spectacular countryside in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

 2/ The National Three Peaks Challenge is a mental and physical mountain-endurance challenge with a history of over 40 years, in which participants climb the three highest peaks in the UK.

 

The main challenge takes in the summits of Ben Nevis (Scotland 1344m), Scafell Pike (England 978m) and Snowdon (Wales 1085m) in that order within in a 24 hour time period, driving between each location. It covers 450 miles by vehicle and 26 miles of hill walking with 10,000ft of ascent and descent

Weston Park Hospital in Sheffield is one of only four dedicated cancer hospitals in England. Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity supports the hospital by funding pioneering cancer research and helping to improve cancer treatments and care for patients from Sheffield, all of South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire and North Derbyshire.

This is my way of saying Thankyou to all the staff of ward 3 for the fabulous way they looked after my wife and I as we got through a very difficult time in our lives in coping with a molar pregnancy . They do so much more than just treat an illness as the support for people and their loved ones is also so important . I hope we can help them with their amazing work, any donation would be great- lets raise some money.
