Story

***UPDATE 16.8.13 at 8.05pm*** THEY MADE IT TO JOHN O'GROATS! Brilliant effort from the boys as they hit their target of reaching John O'Groats after eight long days in the saddle. Lots of money raised for Horton Maternity Unit. Thank you to everyone who has supported them!!

***UPDATE 16.8.13*** First sign for John O'Groats has just been spotted. 104 miles away!  No trouble for these boys as they have been cycling the equivalent of Silverstone to Gatwick every day for 8 days now!

***UPDATE 15.8.13*** The boys are making great progress and hope to reach Fort William tonight.  Morale is high, although they may just be a little delirious after 7 days in the saddle!

On 9 August 2013, Aston Martin Racing drivers Darren Turner, Peter Dumbreck and Stuart Hall will be swapping their Nomex race suits for much closer-fitting lycra outfits and cycling from Land's End to John O’Groats, all in the name of charity.

While they are world-class racing drivers they are all novice cyclists so, although they are already super fit, there will be lots of complaining about sore bottoms along the way.

They will get by with a little help from their friends though as support has been promised from ex-F1 and now sportcar aces Anthony Davidson and Karun Chandhok. This means that the boys can sit in their tow all the way to John o’Groats!

All donations will go to the Horton Maternity Unit in Banbury where Peter's son & daughter and Darren's daughter were born.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.  Hopefully we'll have enough left over to by them both a comfortable cushion to sit on.
