As many of you will know, in January 2010 I decided it was time to get fit and started a daily exercise programme of running and swimming.  The first few weeks of pounding the pavements and trying to keep my head above water in the pool were testing, but I am now reaping the benefits of feeling fit and healthy. 

So when the chance arose to take part in a team event with my work colleagues at Chancellors-Anscombes to raise money for Macmillan, it seemed too good an opportunity to miss.  Who knows, it may even be a good warm up for 2012 (marathon, not Olympics)!

Macmillan provide such invaluable support for cancer patients and their families, so if you are able to help us to support them with a sponsorship donation I would be most grateful.  Every donation will go towards helping us achieve and hopefully exceed our team target.
