The "challenge".......cycling 800 miles over 8 days from Paris to Nice, France in September 2015. During this epic ride, myself and a team of other crazy riders will be tackling two of the Tour de France's most iconic and notorious climbs - Alpe d'Huez and Mont Ventoux. Yes, a pretty daunting task ahead but well worth all the blood, sweat and 'gears' in order to support a fantastic local charity such as Willen Hospice.

I needed to raise a minimum of £1000 to play my part in this challenge and now that I have achieved this initial target (thanks to everyone's generosity to-date), I have now raised my personal target to £2000. As a group, our overall target is £100k and each rider is funding their own ride which means that 100% of your donation will go directly to Willen Hospice. Any donation will be a valued one, so please show your support. 

In addition to each individual riders' sponsorship for taking part in the ride itself, the 'Ride for Willen' committee, the riders' and their family and friends will be organising numerous fund-raising events over the forth-coming months.

All funds raised from these events will also be contributed towards the huge target of £100k, so please look out for advertisements and Facebook notifications for details and show your support here where possible too.
