ROADCHEF CHARITY SKYDIVE FOR MIDLANDS AIR AMBULANCE
12 Roadchef employees will be taking to the skies on the 3rd of December to raise money for Midlands Air Ambulance. I will be one of those crazy people!
We will be jumping from approximately 13000 feet and Skydiving at around 120mph for the first 5000 feet all in the name of stupidity! I mean charity of course!
We have chosen Midlands Air Ambulance as they are stationed adjacent to our Strensham Northbound Services on the M5. if you have visited the site you may well have seen them taking off or landing after saving someones life.
The service needs £5.6 million every year to save lives across Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire and the West Midlands as it recieves no Government or Lottery Funding. The helicopter provides a rapid response that ensures patients get to hospital as quickly as possible in any emergency situation which greatly increases thier chance of survival.
We believe this is a great cause and this is why although i dont like hieghts i have agreed to do this to raise as much money as possible for the charity.
We are not asking you to jump but would appreciate your support by donating as much as you can to help keep the Air Ambulance flying to save lives and potentially benefiting 8 million people.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT
