My story
Firstly, thanks very much for taking the time to visit our page!
We are three regular guys, Dave Colford, Paul Bevis and Chris Lennon who are desperate to support a very worthy and often forgotten about charitable cause – Chernobyl Children in Need. We need your help to raise money for this charity that helps children with limited life expectancy, who live very deprived lives and who often don’t get any enjoyment from an already tough existence. This is what we intend to do to help.... we are going to complete a staggered Iron Man triathlon which starts on Saturday 21 April we will swim 2.4 miles then cycle 112 miles to London and then on Sunday 22 April we will run the London Marathon. If you sponsor us and we hit our £5k target you will help us buy the following:
· 3 cows as a sustainable project for 3 poor families, this will provide them and many neighbours in the village with fresh milk every day giving them the ability to make cheese, butter and yogurt, breed a calf for meat and the cycle continues – this is life changing for these very poor families.
· 30 chickens for 3 families ensuring their children receive eggs every day, many children go to school hungry as they have nothing to give them.
· To send 3 children to a respite camp in Belarus where they will receive medical treatments and rest from issues occurring at home
· Fund 3 children to come to England for respite for one month during summer 2012 where their immune systems will be boosted and the children will be free to be children and experience a loving family who they will develop life long bonds with.
We can give lots of hope, enjoyment and fun by just raising £4,000. Any support you can give is very gratefully received.My gallery 9

CCIN supports children affected by radiation from Chernobyl. By respite care in the UK or Belarus, child sponsorship, humanitarian aid inc permissible medical goods, building and improvement projects and support an Orphanage, Special Needs School, Kindy & 5 Main Schools in the Kalinkovichi District.
