Les Bourgs Hospice relies totally on the generosity and support of Bailiwick residents to enable it to provide exceptional care and professional support which enables patients with a life limiting illness, with the support of their family and friends, to attain an improved quality of life at a time of need.

In support of this self-funded local charity the staff (about 130 of us) at Bank Julius Baer in Guernsey (in celebrating our 30th year in Guernsey)are raising money by undertaking various 30/30 themed events. 30 days of walking in April, 30 days of cycling in May, a 30km cliff run in June, 30 bay swims in July and 30 days of running in October.

My chosen event is the 30 consecutive days (from April 27th to May 26th ) of cycling (minimum 1 hour per day)…..but this will be in addition to my cycle to and from work.
