<p><span style="color: #000000;">Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</span></p> <p><span style="color: #000000;">I was inspired to run the marathon for the Rose Road Children's appeal when I MC'd the charity's Crystal Ball Fundraiser&nbsp;before Christmas. The hard work and selfless dedication of the staff and the parents in support of the children was truly amazing. I've spent the last couple of years coaching rugby and football at a special school in Kent and know the difficulties the children and their families face. Rose Road provides a range of specialist care and services for young people with severe and complex disabilities. Based on the outskirts of Southampton Rose Road provides short breaks in Oaks and Acorns which is designed to be a home from home where young people can relax and families can take a rest. Other facilities include the Outstanding Rosewood School, a fantastic outdoor play space and a hydrotherapy pool which is accessed by a range of families and community groups.</span></p> <p><span style="color: #000000;">The charity also has a wonderful team who visit families in the home, help with travel and medication as well as arrange outings such as day trips to the local zoo or simply a visit to the park to relax and feed the ducks!</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
