In 2007 I lost my 6 year old son, David James (DJ). No parent is prepared for the loss of a child, and I was no different. Through the love and support of my family, friends, and the entire blogosphere (both emotionally and financially) I was able to provide DJ with a proper burial service, resting place, and marker.

Not all parents have such an amazing support system, and providing them with financial assistance at such a critical time is the mission of the Joseph Salmon Trust.
