Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Starting in April 2015 I am going to attempt to cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats on my penny farthing. I aim to complete the ride in 14 days, averaging around 70 miles a day.

Along the way I will post updates to my twitter page ( davepreece7 )and photos to Instagram. I also hope to record the ride to strava.

It's not going to be an easy ride but if it was I guess everyone would be doing it!

My main reason for choosing to raise money for the ndcs is that my wife was born deaf and she, more than most people, knows how hard it can be to grow up being deaf.

I will be funding my journey myself so you can be sure any donations that you make will be going straight to the charity.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

We are the National Deaf Children’s Society, the leading charity for deaf children. We give expert support on childhood deafness, raise awareness and campaign for deaf children’s rights, so they have the same opportunities as everyone else.
