Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After obtaining a place in the London Marathon through my running club, I was wondering what charity to try and raise some money for. I was then fortunate to hear Allen Parton, the founder of the charity Hounds for Heroes speak at a recent work event. His story and the work that the charity do is incredible and it became clear immediately that I wanted to raise money for this charity.

Their aim is to provide specially trained assistance dogs to injured and disabled men and women of both the UK armed forces and civilian emergency services. More information about the charity can be found at http://www.houndsforheroes.com/

I realise that the target I'm aiming for is quite high, but I'd like to try and raise as much money as possible for this worthy charity.

Many thanks for your donation.
