I have now successfully completed my two 10k runs with the following results:

 

Paisley 10k Race (30/08/2009) - 249th out of 1123 runners with a time of 47 mins 4 seconds

Great Scottish 10k Race (06/09/2009) - 425th out of 7226 runners with a time of 45 mins 13 seconds

 

The sub-45 minute time still taunts me! But I have now signed up to yet another TWO 10k's -

 

20th Septemeber 2009 - Barrhead 10k

20th October 2009 - Cancer Research 10k Run (Strathclyde Park)

 

Thanks for all your support and donations, I've been in regular contact with ECPAT UK and it really means alot to them as I don't think they always get the attention and publicity they deserve!

 

Of course if you still wish to 'double-up' your donation then please feel free. I'm still determined to set a time under 45 minutes and will be going all out in Barrhead and Strathclyde Park!
