So why a prostate cancer charity?  My father was diagnosed with prostate cancer last year but after a full course of treatment he has made a complete recovery.  Not only does it effect the sufferer, their family is effected too.  I can vouch for that.

So why £1K?  Well, that's just £100 for each km run - after all, my time's precious and I don't come cheap (tongue firmly in cheek).   So that's just 100 of you sponsoring me at just £1 a km.  Feel free to make it more!

On the day of the run itself, you can track my progress by going to http://sportstracker.nokia.com/nts/main/index.do and zooming down to Eastleigh, near Southampton, on the map and clicking on the pulsing circle on the map at Flemming Park , unless others are doing the same - then there will be more circles to click on. The run starts at 10.00am.
