<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>Last year I ran my very&nbsp;first marathon, believing at the time that it would be the one and only time I'd endure 26 miles and 385 yards. As it happened (despite drinking far too many cocktails the night before)&nbsp;I really enjoyed&nbsp;running&nbsp;the Robin Hood marathon, cheered on&nbsp;by the good people of Nottingham. So in a moment of weakness when my partner suggested I did the Greater Manchester Marathon in the city where she works,&nbsp;I of course said yes.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>For this challenge I shall be raising money for Family Care. They are a&nbsp;welcoming and innovative voluntary agency, which offers services in adoption, family support, emotional support to children and young people, safeguarding consultancy and training.</p> <p>Family Care are based in Nottingham, but their&nbsp;fantastic work spreads beyond just the&nbsp;City of Nottingham, to include the County of Nottinghamshire and surrounding areas.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
