From the source of the Thames the adventure begins. Unsupported, a group of 8 set off from the source and we will make our way down the Thames in canoes carrying only what is essential for the 4-5 days on the water to London. We have 8 people already signed up with 2-3 standbys.

The equipment will be donated by a canoeing club, of which one of the group is a member.

Over the years I, and many friends and family, have lost loved ones to cancer but there has always been a group of dedicated, kind, caring and strong people who have been there to help through those difficult times so we have chosen MacMillan.
