Bupa Great Manchester Run · 26 May 2013 ·

Our mission is to provide bike maintenance training opportunities, resources and environments that support rehabilitation of people in prisons in order to help break the cycle of re-offending as well as undertaking preventative work in the community. Refurbished bikes are donated to people in need.

Story

Five go mad in Manchester! To celebrate David's 70th birthday all three sons - and daughter-in-law Jayne - will be lining up alongside him for the Great Manchester Run to raise money for Margaret Carey Foundation.

Every penny you donate goes straight to recycling old bicycles and wheelchairs, giving meaningful work to prisoners and helping people in need overseas.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
