Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Along with a few friends I will be attempting to cycle 275 miles from Holyhead in North Wales to Cardiff on 8th-10th September 2011. Apart from the usual reasons for such a ride (i.e. trying to dispel any thought that we are actually "middle aged" and wearing some nice lycra) it also gives us a chance to see the wonderful Welsh countryside and most importantly raise some money for a good cause.

The cause I have chosen is Brad's Cancer Foundation. Founded in the memory of Brad Davis who tragically died from cancer at the age of just 18, the Foundation is raising funds in conjunction with the Teenage Cancer Trust towards the building of a special Teenage Cancer Unit at Nottingham NHS Trust. This unit is due to open at the end of the year but still needs further funding to fully equip it.

Any donations large or small will be gratefully appreciated. As well as giving to a great cause it will give me the motivatation I need to get up those hills!

Many thanks

David
