hi as you can see my name is david bithell and i am head lad at william kinsye,s yard in chester.and i applied for a charity race a few months back not thinking i would get picked , but i did and carnt wait. the charity i am riding for is greatwood Founded in the 1990's, Greatwood provides fulfilling futures for former racehorses and children and young people with special educational needs, through interactions in unique programmes of rehabilitation and education in a secure and caring environment.Greatwood started Horse Power in 2006, a special educational needs (SEN) programme which has helped thousands of children since its inception.  Greatwood has now developed further SEN programmes where young people with special educational needs learn life skills through their interactions with small animals and racehorses. The programmes aim to prepare young people, often marginalised by society, for life in and out of the workplace by helping them to learn life skills, achieve an accredited qualification, and ultimately help them achieve independence in adulthood.

Greatwood is a recognised racehorse welfare charity that has influenced the lives of hundreds of former racehorses.

as you can see from the work they do it is a very worth while charity . so please even if you dont no me you can see the work greatwood do , please donate as much or little as you can because ever penny helps
