Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. It's very much appreciated.

For some insane reason I have decided to run the Chicago Marathon (October 11th 2009). Don't ask me why, I'm still trying to work that one out myself. I'm expecting 26.2 miles of torture (who decided that .2 of mile was necessary after 26 miles!!!).

To get me through this, I'm running in support of St Benedicts Hospice. St Benedicts provide specialist palliative care that improves the quality of life of patients and their families facing the problems associated with life threatening illness. The hospice has a philosophy to provide the highest quality nursing care to people who are suffering from a progressive illness. The service is free to all those who need to use it.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to St Benedicts Hospice and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

Your donation will help make a massive difference to a number of people.

Best wishes

Dave
