I am a lifelong Arsenal fan, going back to the mid 60's. I have followed and admired the work of Arsenal Foundation since its inception, and this is now my opportunity to show my support, for Arsenal and The Arsenal Foundation in a very practical way. 

The Arsenal Foundation uses the power of football and the Arsenal name to support and inspire young people in north London and across the globe in partnership with Save The Children. They have co-developed the innovative Coaching For Life programme which utilises football to improve the mental well being of children affected by conflict and violence.

I will be joining Arsenal legends David Seaman and Per Mertesaker, and 99 fellow fans to demonstrate this. We will spend four days treking across Jordan from the Dead Sea to Petra, sleeping under the stars. I will be pushing myself well outside of my comfort zone and hope to raise as much as possible to empower children across the globe through Coaching For Life.
