Story

Many thanks to all who supported me for the sleep out. It was dry until 5.00 am - but then we got a bit damp! There were 35 or so of us - and the "on the night" take was around £5,000 - with more to come.

The pics are the view on the night and the classic "after" shot!

I had a further £35 in cash and cheques so that takes the total very close to £400 - (Now nearer to £500 ! - (7/12/11))You are all very generous!

There is still an option to donate for those who have not yet got round to it. Many thanks and best wishes. David

The Booth Centre at the Cathedral in Manchester do a fantastic job providing food, support and help in getting homeless folks into jobs and accomodation. These folk are not feckless or "paying the price" for foolishness - they are each fascinating and decent human beings for whom fortune has not recently smiled. Please support my small contribution to help them find a new way forward with their lives.

I shall be sleeping out with them and other fundraising friends on Friday November 25th near to the Cathedral. If it is cold and wet - it will be some consolation to know you have sponsored me to do it ! More detail at http://www.boothcentre.org.uk/

Many thanks.
