Virgin London Marathon 2010 · 25 April 2010 ·

We aim to enable patients with life limiting conditions to live life as fully as possible and make the most of the time they have, as well as supporting their loved ones. It costs almost £4m a year to provide vital free care services and we rely heavily on the support from our community.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As some of you may know I have successfully achieved a place in the London Marathon ( it only took me 4 years). I'm only planning to run it once and thought it would be a great opportunity to raise some cash for a worthy local charity. Katharine House takes care of those with incurable illness and has done a fantastic job over the last 10 years however needs continual funds to sustain this level of care. Thats the Lenny Henry bit over!

I'm gonna aim to get the job done in 3 hours and i'll try and keep you all updated on how the training goes. For those of you still unconvinced i will also attach photographs of my blood, sweat and tears over the coming months. Any donation is greatly appreciated and I'm hoping to raise 500 pounds. Any support on the day is also welcome, would be good to get a crowd there.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Seasons Greetings
