I have now raised over £2500 for Yorkshire cancer centre, I would like to thank every one that has been involved or donated. We are hosting an evening on 17th march at the shay, it includes a 4 course meal, raffle, comedian/mc Pete emmitt and band of oz ! Please contact me if you would like to join us.

<p>I have just signed up to take part in the 2012 Yorkshire cancer centre 'Inca trail', in October 2012. I will be heading to Peru to complete the Inca trail and in the process hope to raise as much money as possible. The trip is to help towards trying to raise £10 million to build a new state of the art cancer centre in Leeds that will supply world leading treatment to cancer patients across yorkshire. I am taking part in this as a way of giving something back after my uncle lost his battle with cancer last year, he recieved the best treatment at Leeds and i have also recieved first class treatment throughout my treatment. Cancer effects 1 in 3 so we will all be effected by this at some time in our lives, so if we can all give a little, big changes are possible.</p> <p> I need to raise £3250 for the trip so could i ask as many of my friends as possible to donate and support me during the next 12 months. However small all donations will be greatly recieved. Thanks x</p>
