Story

My employer Vodafone has launched the Moyo Challenge which aims to eliminate obstetric fistula in Tanzania. For every £1 donated, Vodafone will donate £2. You can read more about this very worthy cause here: #mce_temp_url#

I've set myself the challenge to see how long I can go not spending a single penny getting to, from, or at work.

I've been going since 30th August: at the end of November I've cycled over 800 km, saved nearly £800, and lost about 8kg in weight (just goes to show how much fat there is in a Pret choccie bar eh).

I'm aiming to raise as much as possible by December 15th (which is our fundraising deadline). Please donate to support me - I'm going to donate 10% of what I save myself.

Thanks for donating!

Cheers

David

PS here are the rules:

- no public or motorized transport to or from work

- no expenditure on food or drink at work: packed lunch and free coffee are permitted. Though obviously if someone desparately wants to buy me coffee or lunch, I'm not going to say no, am I? ;-)

- work from home, taking leave, any sick days, are all excluded (though I will still try to do a 10 mile ride and eat a home-made lunch)
