On 3rd September 2010 (Due to weather jump had to be postponed) I will be throwing myself out of a plane to raise money for EdUKaid.
EdUKaid are a British charity who provide long term aid to one of the poorest regions in Tanzania. They have many on going projects they are currently working on in the Mtwara Region.
These projects include providing resources for local primary and secondary schools who could not afford them otherwise as well as the training of local teachers so that they can make best use of these resources to provide a better education. On top of this they also sponsor as many children as they can so that they can pay the tuition fees and buy the uniforms needed to attend school, something they would not be able to afford without EdUKaid's support. They also provide school lunches for the local chilldren, many of whom would not eat all day without this support.
Even the smallest donations can add up and help them keep up this great work and help provide an education for even more children and help them create better lives for themselves. Just £5 will is enough to pay for a child through primary school for a whole month! This means that if I you can help me reach my target then this could help put 4 children through primary school for a whole year!
All donation no matter how small will be greatly appreciated. I would also like to add that the jump is being paid for privately so all the money raised here will be going straight to EdUKaid to support them in their outstanding work.
