I know that the summer is a busy time for sponsorship emails...but this is actually my first ever request !!

From 3rd - 5th August, I will be taking part in City Basketball 2009 - a half-court 3 vs 3 basketball tournament.

We will be raising money for XLP - a fantastic London charity which works with young people to help them with issues like bullying, intimidation and knife crime. If you want to come down and support me (or hurl abuse at me which is more likely!) - we'll be playing at Broadgate Circle in the City by Liverpool Street.

Any donation you can make would be greatly appreciated, I don't have long until the competition itself !
