Story

Hi There,

I first ran my one and only marathon in the 2004 London Marathon, for The Countryside Alliance, and enjoyed it for some reason!   I thought the Countryside Alliance London marches were fun, but running for the "cause" felt to have more of an impact.

I grew up in the countryside and still live in it now, so I know the benfits it can give in many ways.   Hunting has always been a major part of my life, and I would dearly love to see it legalised again after the ridiculas ban through misunderstanding and prejudice.

The work that the Alliance do for our benfit through all walks of countryside life is tremendous and cannot be underestimated.

In this marathon run, my personal aim is to beat my original 2004 time of 3 hours 13 minutes, with a strong desire to run it under 3 hours.   All donations, no matter how small are most gratefully recieved.

Many Thanks.

David
