IRONMAN 70.3 Staffordshire · 14 June 2015 ·

Smile Train is the world’s largest cleft charity, sponsoring 2M+ cleft surgeries since 1999. Our success owes to our sustainable model of training, funding, and equipping local medical teams to provide comprehensive cleft care that’s always there for their neighbours in need.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Many of you will have known my late father Dr Gerard Flood who was a doctor in Upholland from 1969 - 2005. He died from a form of Parkinson's disease in 2013. His favourite charity was Smile Train. In his younger years he had been a talented athlete,  playing football in particular to a very high level. I am taking part in the Staffordshire Ironman in his memory to raise money for his favourite charity.
