On 25th June I will be setting out with a group of friends to cycle from Lake Iseo near Milan across the Italian Dolomites to Venice. Over the 5 days we will cover over 600km distance and 13,669m of ascent over some of the highest mountain passes.

It will be the hardest thing I have ever done, but it is nothing compared to the mountains that Hayley Willson-Holman had to climb each day in her incredibly positive, courageous but ultimately unsuccessful battle with breast cancer. Hale worked with me at RKCR/Y&R for 16 years and I will think of her on each and every mountain climb.

I am therefore raising money for the Breast Cancer Campaign and Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity in her memory. Their ambition is that by 2050, no one will die from breast cancer by finding ways to prevent the disease, improving early diagnosis and developing new treatments for all types of breast cancer. We have made them the agency charity we are supporting this year. Anything you can donate would be hugely appreciated.
