Glenys greatly enjoyed her regular trips to the hospice over several years. She really appreciated the warmth and friendship of both the staff and attendees. They had times of just talking, games, crafts, various therapies and other forms of pampering all of which added to the quality of the time spent there. There was also the specialist nursing support available to assist as symptoms changed as the cancer progressed, improving her ability to cope.
