Hi All,

As some of you may know these last few months I have been trying to get fit enough to take part in the 2009 Cheltenham Triathlon (www.sandfordparkslido.org.uk/triathlon.htm) and to raise money for LINC (Leukaemia & Intensive Chemotherapy) and the Sandford Lido.

The training has been tough I can assure you and learning to swim definately provided onlookers with some comedy moments to be remembered but the event is nearing and I'm ready to give it my best shot. Initially my target was just to complete it and raise some money for a very deserving cause but now I'm being cheekily ambitious and aiming to complete in an hour....anything under that is perhaps a bit to ambitious but I will see what I have in the tank on the day!

Thanks to all those who have been a great source of encouragement, you and the cause have kept me going. I'm now looking forward to giving it my best shot and if you would like to sponsor me to raise money for LINC then that will make it all the more worth while!
