Well we're back safe and sound and feeling very pleased with ourselves after an arduous and testing trek (not a glimpse of Dorothy Lamour!!).

Accommodation was less than basic and five days stubble persuaded me that beards are for Greek priests and Santa!

Thank you to Howard for his excellent planning, to the Trekkers, the Berbar guides and muleteers and most of all to our many sponsors. 

The trek has already raised over £30,000.00 for the hospice (it's still not too late to sponsor us and feel free of guilt until 2017!).
