Thanks for everyones support. I ran the London in 3hr 50min and really had a great time! With the support of my patients at the practice I have managed to raise over £ 1,300. The legs are getting easier and three days after the Marathon I am thinking of going for a run again....

Bone Cancer Research Trust promotes research into the causes and treatments of Primary Bone cancer which effects young people. Each year 400 teenages develop this cancer which only has a survival rate of 50% after 5yrs.

Bradley was only 16yr when he developed bone cancer. He was an active sporty teenager who played rugby in St Ives and was fanatical supporter of Wasps. He lost his lower leg when it was diagnosed and underwent many years of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Despite taking him to watch the Saints he continued to support Wasps! Unfortunately he sadly lost his fight against this devistating cancer in October last year.

This might be my 12th Marathon but this is such a great cause to raise money for.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So please dig deep as this really is such a worthwhile cause and every pound raised may well help a young teenagers fight against this devistating cancer.
