Marie Curie - Walk Ten 2012 Bolton Abbey · 18 August 2012 ·
On June 7th 2012 i lost my brother Michael Johnson to cancer. He was diagnosed with a brain tumour 3 years ago and fought a long brave battle and throughout his illness he showed great positivity and dealt with it in the best way that he could. Michael was a very unique character and a great inspiration to other people, friends and family included.
I am participating in Walk Ten for the honour of Michael and also as a way of showing my appreciation to Marie Curie for caring for him and making sure he was the most comfortable he could be in his final days.
Please sponsor me and help Marie Curie Nurses provide free care to more people with terminal cancer and other illnesses in their own homes or in one of their hospices across the UK.
£20 provides 1 hour of Marie Curie nursing care, but whatever you can give will help terminally ill people and their families when they need it most.
Thank you for your support.
