Story
Hello,
Well we're doing the MK 1/2 and am raising money for Willen Hospice.
I have been training for a while now so will definitely be finishing it..... As for the time well who knows. It's my birthday weekend too so should be lots of fun!
I hope you sponsor even if it's just a little amount. I'm sure Willen Hospice will appreciate it. Knowing i have to finish because i have sponsors will probably help me round too!!
There's a few other people running too (still not totally 100% confirmed) so if you fancy joining Team Lewis you'd be more than welcome. The entry fee is £19 (which i have paid for myself) and the details are on http://www.mkhalf.co.uk/
Cheers,
David
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.
JustGiving sends your donation straight to Willen Hospice and automatically reclaims Gift Aid if you're a UK taxpayer, so your donation is worth even more. I hope you'll join me in supporting Willen Hospice.

Update - 05/01/2010
Some money has already flowed in and between online/offline donations there is £116 (plus gift aid) on it's way to Willen Hospice. Brilliant!!
Chris and i did an easy 6 miler yesterday, and i've added the MK Half Route to the photos just so you know how long it is!! And have had another person join Team Lewis, thanks Gareth. That piggyback for the last 2 miles will be well appreciated!!

Update - 27th Jan 2010
Training was on hold for a week after hurting my foot, but it's all back on again now!!
6 weeks to go.....So no excuses.
Thanks to all for donating so far, it's going to be great handing the money over to Willen Hospice (metaphorically speaking).
Dave :)

Update - 19th February 2010
Well we're fast approaching race day. The race pack has been delivered and we're all up to 10-11 mile runs in training. (I think). My number is 2755, and i'll be the one who's a blur because i'm running so fast... haha
Really looking forward to the day now, and hope to break the £200 barrier on here.
