Story

Most of you know me by now and therefore know I only do 1 event for charity every year. I've had some big challenges already this year, but nothing that compares to this. 400 miles over 4 days cycling from London to Blois in France! Yep officially an idiot!

The event has been created by my employer Saint-Gobain and they have affiliated themselves to the fantastic Charity that is 'We Are Macmillan - Cancer Support'. I am honored to be able to support this charity as they have been involved in so many close family and friends journeys with cancer.

As always I've jumped in at the deep end and only purchased my bike in November last year! So I really do have my work cut out to last this distance in such a short training period. Apparently I need to make my Ass tough? Sounds uncomfortable to me - Gulp!

However, I will be doing my best and each £1 raised will spur me on further, so dig deep my friends and support an old man and a fantastic cause.

Thank you

Dave
