London Marathon 2018 · 22 April 2018 ·

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

In February 2016 I lost my dad to this dreadful disease. I will never forget the day me and my family were told my dad had been diagnosed with this dreadful disease. He was given just 3 months to live but my dad showed a very brave battle with this disease and fought it for 11 months. So proud of the strength he showed and always managed to keep a smile on his face. I will be running the London marathon in memory of him. This is my very first marathon and will be a huge challenge for me. I am very grateful to be offered a charity place for pancreatic cancer UK. This means that I have to raise a minimum of £2500 for this charity so every donation is very much appreciated and really does mean a lot to me. This ones for you Dad I love you ❤️
