Story

My name is David McCarty and I am a serving Fire Fighter at Leyland Fire Station in Lancashire. I am lucky enough to love my job and work with some fantastic people but due to the nature of the job my friends in the Brigade are often put at risk and are witness to events that are truly traumatic. The Fire fighters charity is an organisation set up to support Fire Fighters who are suffering from physical and mental injuries, they support the families of those fire fighters and arrange days out for the children to go and enjoy themselves. They also support retired fire fighters who have given their life to protecting their communities and are now suffering from injuries. I'm sure you can agree they are a worthwhile charity and I hope you can find it in you to help me raise money for them.
