Earlier this year the awesome team at Auchrannie committed to taking part in the Glasgow 10K & half marathon to raise funds for Marie Curie. At first, we both thought.. what a great idea...but we will sit this one out and wait in the pub for everyone as they finish. Time ticked by and let's just say some persuasion was applied from others and eventually we came round to the idea of taking part. Ever since we have been training (with some ups and downs) to ensure we can not only complete the 10K but achieve a respectable time. This change of mind has turned out to be a real boost to our health but it's about more than that, it's about raising money for Marie Curie. This awesome charity does so much work for those with Cancer which affects many families including our own.

Our aim is to raise £250 and we would really appreciate any donations!! Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Oh ... and when we finish we will post on Facebook our times whether they are good or bad :)
