In
what have been very testing times it is a rare source of comfort for Ali, Matt
and Baby Molly to know that so many people are showing solidarity with them through
supporting the Jennifer Trust.
The
charity provides "Help for Today & Hope for Tomorrow" through a range of
support services and the funding and promotion of research into Spinal Muscular
Atrophy. Each year it helps some 2,000 families, individuals and healthcare
professionals with information, support and advice about living with, or caring
for sufferers of the disease. Much of its work is performed by a national network
of volunteers who can draw on their own experience of Spinal Muscular Atrophy
to support people like Ali, Matt and Molly.
