Well, I did it - loved it and have the aches and pains to prove it - 4.16.27 about 15 mins ahead of target - thanks to you all for your support and to the brilliant spectators on the day and to the Amaze team who were superb both on and off the road.</p> <p>I am running the Brighton Marathon on 15 April 2012 - I was 50 last year and wanted to do something to mark the big birthday, but also to do something that helps others.</p> <p>I really love running, though I am not sure I am going to feel the same after 26.2 miles! The training is going well, I have been very lucky with the weather and the old creaky body is holding together.</p> <p>Amaze is a brilliant charity providing support and services to families with disabled children.
