My story

On 20 October 2012, I ran the Polar Circle Marathon, a 42km race over the Polar Icecap in Greenland. This was my first marathon and proved to be an amazing experience. I managed to come 8th out of 97 runners and was the first Brit to cross the line. I was privileged to support two great charities, Cancer Research UK and Help for Heroes) and surpassed my fundraising target of £10,000. Many thanks for your support.
