Story
السلام عليكم Assalamu Alaikum everyone,
Firstly I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!
My name is David Takmil Kiani, 20, and currently a Civil Engineering student at Kingston University. I was born in Ireland and because of my amazing parents I am now a revert Alhamdulilah with intentions to help my brothers and sisters benefit from this amazing charity In sha Allah.
In less than 1 month I will be trying my best to complete a 33 mile bike ride to raise money and awareness for the orphans in Palestine! I have currently done no training for this challenge nor do I even have a bike haha! And I am sure I will be questioning why I decided to do this bike ride during the challenge, but knowing the benefits that my fellow brothers and sisters will receive from the money that will be raised in sha Allah will make it all worth it in the end, even if that means riding a Boris bike for 5 hours! (Or more)
All the money that will be raised will help the “Islamic Help's Orphan Hifz program in Gaza” - which is a unique programme designed to give orphan children the opportunity to learn and memorize the Qur'an, as well as supplying food, clothing, shelter, health and well-being that every little person deserves. The money raised will also contribute to the Ebrahim College's Musab ibn Umair fund which provides scholarships and financial support to young and talented students who are struggling or unable to finance their studies.
Please donate generously and support the cause which will help the learning, well-being and teaching of the Qu'ran in the hearts and actions of the orphans in Gaza, along with the future UK scholars In sha Allah.
All money raised will be collected by Islamic Help and divided 50-50 between both organisations, please make the intention to support both charities and may Allah SWT reward you immensely for your generosity, Ameen.
Jazakallah. X
