Hi

I will be running the Virgin London Marathon at the end of April. I found out about the Albany taxi charity through my Dad, who has been supporting it for 15+ years. The Albany Taxi Charity is a fund run by London Taxi Drivers for children with Special Needs, giving them fun filled days out which are not provided by the homes and schools. Their main trip is to Margate where the children are entertained during the day, culminating at the Wintergardens with a dinner, presents and disco in the evening.

Anyone who knows me well, will tell you that I am not the kind of person that you would think would run for a bus let alone a Marathon, but since i have started my training I have really enjoyed it, and am looking forward to completing it.

I thought it would be a really good idea to support this charity and at the same time get myself into shape.

Also Ben Bryant will be Running the Mini Marathon and has decided to donate all the money he has raised in support of the Albany Taxi Charity. Ben was also made aware of the charity by my Dad and I would like to say a big thank you to him for choosing this great cause
