We fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.

Story

I am taking part in the challenge in honour and memory of my great friend, Jeremy Schroeter, who sadly lost his battle with bowel cancer in July 2013, aged just 60.

Jeremy was one of the fittest people I knew. We played Rugby Fives together for many years and competed both regionally and nationally, so it was a terrible shock when he became ill.

I really want to raise awareness of the symptoms of bowel cancer and encourage people to get checked out as soon as possible if they have any concerns because early diagnosis and treatment can make a huge difference to the outcome.
