I visited Exeter Hospiscare for the first time last summer as was shocked that the NHS only funds necessary drugs for palliative care and that all other running costs are met by incredible people who fund raise in excess of £4m per year every year to keep this great facility running as successfully as it does, and enables it to provide supurb palliative care for many people.

Following my visit I decided to support Hospiscare both corportately and personally and hopefully my physical efforts last Sunday (11th April) will raise a great deal of money for a cause that I think is possibly one of the most difficult and perhaps taboo areas to our lives to face.
