Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We run from the centre of town and then between Manchester's two main football grounds. 

The atmosphere is always fantastic, with people cheering you on throughout the run. I can always hear the voices in the crowd - due to the fact I'm running so slow!

After Old Trafford we head back along the Stretford Road and ALWAYS through the on-course shower facility - even if it's pouring down like it was 3 years ago. It's just a tradition and by the time you've ran 10 miles, non-stop, then why not?

Finally we see the Beetham Tower, all 47 storeys of it. Funny, because it always seems to get further away the more you run towards It!

The finish line is followed by a check of the running watch to see how many calories I've burnt and therefore how many beers, chips and crisps I can now tuck into for the rest of Sunday afternoon.
