We help people diagnosed with a brain tumour. We aim to give everyone diagnosed access to the resources that will put them back in control. We enable brain tumour patients and carers to become resilient and to utilise brain tumour support resources from all providers to their full potential.

Story

My name is David Pentland, I was a keen snowboarder and sports person. However 7 yrs ago I had an astrocytoma brain tumour which I had operated on and a radioactive seed was implanted in my brain. I returned to work but my condition deteriorated over a number of years. I now suffer with neurological problems as a result of radiation necrosis (radiation damage ) and now even day to day activities such as walking are a struggle. I also have impaired vision due to the treatment and my speech is slurred. I would love to get out and about to take my 5yr old son to school as it is only down the road. I am trying to raise money to buy an electric mobility scooter so I can achieve this goal.
