Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am trying to raise money for Support Dogs because it is a very unique charity that is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with epilepsy, physical disabilities and families of children with autism by training dogs to act as sufficient and safe assistants.

Seizure alert dogs are trained to alert their owners to an imminent epileptic seizure enabling them to find a place of safety and allowing them to cook a meal or take a bath in safety.

Disability Assistance dogs are trained to help deal with everyday situations that both you and I take for granted. The dogs can open and close doors, load and unload the washing machine, pick up dropped items and raise alarms or fetch help when needed.

Autistic assistance dogs are trained to improve the quality of life for families with autistic children. The dog help increase the child’s independence, teaches the child responsibility, helps with positive changes in behaviour e.g. lower aggression level.

All this takes a lot of time and money, but makes a massive difference to people less able as us. This charity is NOT government funded and solely relies on donations to fund their work.  Please help by giving whatever you can, no matter how small you may think it is.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
